Researches in the New Amatérská cave during 2000 and 2004 period article of symposium at International Congress of Speleology in Athens 2005 occasion 22.06.2005 - =P= |
1. Chimney explorations There was continued in climbing of chimneys which was started in previous period. Firstly was climbed U Bobulí chimney in the Zemních Pyramid chamber. On the top was found two branches. First one was ended by unpassable passage but sound communication with main chamber was detected. Second one finished in 33 m of height in narrow cracks. Over 9 months takes research of the biggest crack of the Zemních Pyramid chamber named chimney of Acrobats. In the western part of one was researched several chimneys with discovery of horizontal level with 30 m of total length. There was reached 50 m of height. Lower part of chimney was explored with using of a pole. Particular chimneys was overpowered by free or technical climbing. During next period was climbed up several chimneys especially in Bezejmenný chamber (12 m) and U Vývěru chamber without discovery of new parts. 2. Explorations in the Labyrinth of M. Šlechta At the beginning of period was surveyed part of main passage of the Labyrinth of M. Šlechta between first and second entrance with 117 m of the total length. It was done in framework of map documentation completion. In consequence of low water status was researched bottom of the Studna pit in the outflow part of the Labyrinth. There was discovered 42 m of new parts with active stream of the Punkva river. This place became last know place of active Punkva river entire Labyrinth. In 2001 was firstly explored chimney in Třístovková passage in the outflow part. On the top was pumped out water from semi-sump in horizontal passage. After decreasing of the level about half of meter was passed 10 m of narrow passage which exhausted to blind-ended small chamber. Next place of our interest was happened Vodovod channel. There was explored Koprový chimney in front part with 12 m of height without finding of next continuance. Greater success was reached in rear part Vodovod channel in small chimney where semi-sump was situated. After 3 hours of pumping was passed about 10 m long way to deepest point of sump. Behind it was huge resonance examined but new parts in the mean time was not reached. These new parts was discovered later by pumping another sumps in front part of Vodovod channel. Behind them was discovered channel named Hiko passage which was finished by two water wells. Total length of discoveries in Hiko passage is 80 m. In the Core part was explored chimney above Waterfall to 15 m of height in 2002. At same time here was researched 50 m of passages during extreme low water conditions with finding of a chimney. This one still haven’t been explored. 3. Explorations of south-eastern branches of the Macošský corridor At the beginning of 2002 was explored branch in the Macošský corridor near second entrance to the Labyrinth of M. Šlechta, named Chrochtadlo. The main aim of exploration was the discovery of an unknown section of the Bílá Voda creek river-bed. After digging out the sediments and some flowstones, a narrow passage terminating by 17 m deep shaft was discovered. Active Bílá Voda creek was found at the bottom. The river-bed with some left-side tributaries leads downstream terminating after 30 m in outlet sump. The inflow part 90 m long continues upstream. A chimney above the inflow sump leads to a freatic channel. It continues down to a further part of Bílá Voda creek, named the Aqualung, i.e. to a flooded active stream bed terminating by a sump. Three another chimneys was explored in this part but next continuance has not been found in them. The principal direction of this system is similar to that of the Macošský Corridor, but situated at the lower, active level. The inflow part communicates with the Crematorium by unknown part at this time only 15 m long. The outlet sump drains new discoveries to an unknown parts of the Šolimova Mísa. The connection with the Labyrinth of M. Šlechta has been unknown yet. The total length of Chrochtadlo part is about 180 m. At the beginning of 2003 was explored another branch opposite of first entrance to the Labyrinth of M. Šlechta. We expected penetration behind outflow sump of Chrochtadlo part and discovery of next part of the active Bílá Voda creek. This 30 m long freatic channel named TNO is normaly ended by semi-sump. At the first attempt to pass this semi-sump was slightly decreased water level. The 10 m long flooded narrow passage named Casket was overpowered with finding of the chimney. This chimney didn’t succeed to climb at this time. During next exploration the semi-sump was pumped. Two cavers after it passed the Casket and created life ladder for climbing up the chimney. On the top was discovered narrow channel slightly going down thru several pits. Channel exhausted to the bigger blind-ended chamber. In its bottom is distinct drain to the lower part but closed by ruined stones. Next works in this part was stopped for extremely high difficulty of accessing. Total length of TNO was got longer about 70 m. In consequence of extreme low water level status in summer was succeed to pass from Crematorium to known parts of Chrochtadlo. By interconnecting both parts was created subsystem fixed on Bílá Voda creek of 1 km total length. 4. Explorations of branches of the Punkva river There was explored one south-eastern branch for the present. This part, named the Cow, is characteristic predominantly by low passages with clay sediments. Most of this part is flooded when level of the Punkva river is high. In the Last chamber in rear part was discovered Yperite chimney. There was reached 17m of height by free climbing. On the top leads further narrow passage with impossibility of next exploration. This system is one of tributary of the Punkva river. Total lenght of the Cow system is about 75 m. 5. Summary During 2000 - 2004 period was discovered or surveyed 664 m of passages predominantly in the Labyrinth of M. Šlechta and Macošský corridor. 12 chimneys was climbed up. In highest of them was reached 50 m of height. |
